This personal data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1) sentence 1 point (f) GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). Protecting our website and optimising our services constitute a legitimate interest on our part.

2.3 To enable the data processing operations described in this privacy policy, for example hosting and maintaining our website, we use external service providers.

This website does not set any cookies and does not use any analytics, tracking or marketing services. The fonts used are delivered from our own server; no data is transferred to third parties in the process.

4. Contacting us

For group enquiries, you can reach us by phone or through the WhatsApp link. This website does not offer a contact form. See section 2.2 for information about how we process enquiries and section 6 for external services.

5. Maps with Google Maps

On our website we first show our own location map based on OpenStreetMap data; no data is transferred to third parties in the process. The interactive map from Google Maps is only loaded if you expressly request it by clicking “Load Google Maps”. Only then is data such as your IP address transferred to Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The legal basis is your consent in accordance with Article 6(1) sentence 1 point (a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). Your consent only applies to the current page view and is not stored; if you reload the page, the map is no longer displayed. You can find further information in Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Links to external services

Our website contains links, for example to call us, to WhatsApp, to Google Maps, to Apple Maps and to the Google reviews of our restaurant. Simply visiting our website does not transfer any data to these providers. Only when you click such a link do you leave our website or open the respective app; from then on, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. If you contact us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp Ireland Limited additionally processes your data in accordance with its own terms.

7. Provision of personal data and retention periods

You provide your personal data voluntarily. You are not legally obliged to provide us with your personal data. If you do not provide us with your personal data, this has no consequences for you other than that you cannot use our services. Personal data that you provide to us via our website is only stored until the purpose for which it was processed has been fulfilled. Different retention periods may also result from a legitimate interest on our part (e.g. to ensure data security and to prevent misuse).
